Annina Thaller and Lydia Lienhart from the TRANSFLIGHT team each presented a study from TRANSFLIGHT at the Sustainable Production and Consumption (SCP) Conference in Wageningen (The Netherlands). Annina Thaller presented preliminary results of our literature review with the title "From behavioural to institutional lock-in - Identifying and operationalizing different forms of carbon lock-in in three air travel domains", while Lydia Lienhart presented first empirical results of an Austrian-wide survey (title: "Individual, social and contextual factors contributing to behavioural lock-in in leisure air travel"). The Book of Abstracts with the two contributions is available here: https://www.scp-conference-2023.com/web/wiki/917650/session-overview-book-of-abstracts.
In order to live our own research in a practical way, we took care to avoid air travel when attending the conference, which is why Annina Thaller participated online and Lydia Lienhart travelled by night train.
